WA $10 returned-check fee will be applied to any returned checks. A subsequent $10.00 late fee may also be added if the delay extends beyond the payment deadline.
Attendance Policy
WThere are no refunds for missed lessons. No make-up lessons will be offered for non-emergency cancellations, “no shows”, or last-minute cancellations. The scheduling is not flexible and does not allow for rescheduling other than “lesson swaps” (see below).
WThe studio calendar has a built-in allowance for sick leave with the bonus catch-up weeks. At the teacher’s discretion and with advanced notification, missed lessons due to severe illness, inclement weather, death in the family, traffic emergencies (e.g. car breaks down en route to lesson), and teacher cancellation may be made-up during the bonus catch-up weeks.
WAll lessons canceled by teacher will be rescheduled or "made-up".
WPlease do NOT attend lessons when you are ill and highly contagious.
WPlease use the Swap Policy if you must miss a lesson for any reason other than illness, death in the family, or weather/traffic emergencies. Non-emergency cancellations such as birthday parties, school trips, family vacations, baseball games etc., last-minute cancellations (without 24 hours notice), and "no shows" will necessitate charging the full lesson fee for the unused time reserved for the student.
