Amy Aberg McLelland, NCTM is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music with over 25 years of teaching experience in colleges and independent studios. Immediate past president of The Birmingham Music Teachers Association, McLelland is a member of MTNA, MMF, NFMC, BMTA and holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Piano Performance and over 13 years post graduate study in New York City. An award-winning pianist, McLelland is also in demand as a lecturer and adjudicator and regularly presents programs on ways to enhance human movement at the piano which allow musicians to overcome playing related tension, fatigue, pain and injury.
